Orea Botanica was born as a cultural bridge and authority in wellness. Our story begins in West Africa, under the gentle guidance of Yoruba elders and their treasured botanical wisdom.
Founded by a visionary Nigerian woman inspired by her Yoruba heritage, Orea carries forward the practices that nurtured her lineage for centuries.
In Yoruba culture, self-care was never a luxury; it was a daily ritual of reverence – from morning libations to anointing the skin with nature’s balms.
She grew up seeing the women in her family polish their skin with handmade scrubs, moisturize with òrí (shea butter) and oils, and embrace a holistic idea of beauty that connected body, spirit, and earth.
